I've been practicing law since 2006. I started my career at boutique firms in San Francisco, handling everything from civil rights cases to employment disputes, while also representing small businesses and startups. In 2011, I moved to Colorado and joined Harmon, Seidman & Bruss, LLC, a national copyright litigation boutique known for litigating and winning cases against some of the biggest publishers in the world.

That courtroom experience is exactly what lets me help clients stay out of court. Understanding how contracts, copyright and trademark rights, employment matters, and commercial disputes actually play out in litigation shapes how I negotiate and draft for my clients long before a dispute ever reaches a judge. Over the course of my career, I've recouped millions of dollars in damages for clients and helped them keep control of their creative work. As an artist myself, I've especially valued the chance to help fellow artists protect what's theirs, an extension of the belief in standing up for what's fair that I carried with me from my early civil rights litigation work in California.

I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in fine art from the University of Florida in 2002. After a brief stint as a professional sculptor, I attended UC Hastings College of the Law, where I served as Student Government Internal Vice President, Executive Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review, and Class President. I'm a member in good standing of the state bars of California, Colorado, and New Jersey, and am licensed in the federal courts of those states, as well as Texas and Illinois.
